How the earnings work
Activity recommendations in your guidebook automatically include booking links through Viator and GetYourGuide — the two largest tour marketplaces. Every link carries your personal host code. When a guest books a $150 dolphin cruise or a $90 food tour from your guidebook, the marketplaces pay a commission of roughly 8% of the booking — and during launch, you keep 100% of it.
Earnings are tracked to your host code, visible in your account, and paid out quarterly by PayPal once your balance passes $25. Your guidebook discloses the affiliate relationship to guests, as it should — the links cost guests nothing extra.
The local partner kit
Your restaurant and shop recommendations are worth something too. Every tap a guest makes on your recommendations is counted, and the built-in partner kit turns those numbers into leverage: a printable one-pager pitching your property to local businesses, plus ready-to-send outreach messages. Trade your featured spots for guest discounts, per-visit referrals, or a monthly sponsorship — your deal, your money, no middleman.
How to get started
